Stotz launches Honda CBR1000RR into the record books/set’s Pro Street record to 7.10et
The Dragbike Live.com film crew was on location during the Manufacturers Spring Cup held April 8-10 2011 at SGMP in Valdosta Ga.
Editor of Dragbike Live.com and camera operator Doug Ray captured the exclusive video of Frankie Stotz, rider for Stotz Racing aboard the turbocharged Honda CBR 1000RR when Stotz made history clocking a 7.105 ET at 199.91 MPH.
This is the fastest and quickest Honda CBR 1000RR drag bike in the world and new National Record Holder and winner of the Manufacturers Spring Cup Event Pro Street class.
After the run track tech inspectors performed a complete tech inspection to verify the motorcycle was legal for competition and legal to claim the National Elapsed Time (ET) Record.
All motorcycle entries into the Pro Street class must pass tech before being allowed to compete and if any records are “claimed” must pass a post run tech inspection. Stotz’s motorcycle passed all tech inspections and was granted the National Record. Congratulations team Stotz Racing!

If you take note, in the last picture looking at the Stotz Race Bike in their Pit, Kent Stotz’s father (also frank’s grandfather)in the white with red Honda accents (original Race Team shirt 2000) is standing with Roy Dean (latest crew member). How ’bout that, 3 generations of racers. How many families can boast of that?
