Birmingham City Officials did not shut doww the event at BRC. The Gipsons moved the event. BCC had nothing to do with the event. This event had scam written all over it from the beginning. I was at Steele on Saturday, but didn’t go inside. Didn’t see a reason to go inside, there was more people outside the gate and laughing than there was inside. I saw maybe 15 people inside the track, and 3-4 bikes under EZ Ups.
This does not help our sport one bit right now ! This could’ve been big for tha track , Alabama in general . Thats why I don’t go unless it’s Huntsville dragway , or Montgomery motorsports park . Always great races and, great tracks !
