No Hatin’ Drag Racin organization has announced late Thursday evening that on July 29th thru August 1st 2010 the series will take a huge step and has taking over the date originally set for the now defunct AMA Dragbike Motorcycle Drag Racing Series which cease operations on June 24th 2010. Brian Welch, CEO of the series told Dragbike Live.com that he did not want to see drag racing suffer  in the midst of  a national level series no longer existing. Welch is taking a huge risk for his series and asked for the support of the racers and vendors to make this event successful. Purse for classes are below. Vendor areas on the midway  are available  and should be booked early. Title rights to individual classes are also available. Grudge racing is also included in the event.

do you have a 890 indx class (no slick or bars)?

Brad Netherton says:

OK, I know a lot of people would like to see TF and Pro Comp. But just remember NHDRO didnt drop these classes. They stepped up and picked up an event that everyone thought wasnt going to happen anymore and did what they could do to make sure most could still run. Give them a chance, support them and let it grow. Dont demolish it before it even gets going.

Harvey Hubbard says:

I know there is alot to think about, but I think it would be a shame if no pro-comp and top fuel was involved

d.mc donald says:

brian, run a high dollar bracket race. streamline the classes. 1 of the problems prostar had was the confusion of similar classes did to spectators who came for the first time,HELL I WAS CONFUSED! u do need TOP FUEL,there is your SPECTATOR BASE. NITRO! larry and chris u need brian also. i single these 2 out because they are the only ones i respect. i would pre enter top fuel with a 1000.00 dollar pre entry. when a entrants showed up and passed tech 750.00 would be refunded. the remaining 250.00 would be the entry for bike, rider, and thier crew for a total of 12 tickets. the bikes would be entered and brian could advertize they would be there. brian,u need to advertizs some 2 weeks before enent and then blitz the airwaves heavy the week before. make the money off the spectator gate not the racers. pick u 2 pro classes and no more. and have a max of 4 sportsman classes with a big payout for each. pls dont listen to the racers who are complaining that their class has been dropped.they will adapt. 2 many classes aided the demise of PROSTAR. make the purse worth the racers sacrifice. LARRY MC. U ARE tHE BIGGEST NAME IN THE SPORT NOW THAT ELMER ISNT HERE. help this man suceed and help him as elmer would have. i hope my 1st passion of motorcycle drag racing does it right this time. duke
